How we work

During an initial free consultation we discuss with the client the various factors which will influence the design of the site. We need to understand why the site is being designed, understand what further business benefit the client wants the site to serve and consider who the target audience is and what they need. We deliberately dissuade clients from complex and elaborate sites. |

We then produce a design proposal document outlining the proposed navigation structure. We ensure that site navigation is uncomplicated. Achieving this is not as easy as it sounds, particularly in a large site. At this stage we may also produce a story board and a series of design sketches. |

A second meeting is held with the client to discuss the design proposal document and to refine the navigation structure and design. |

We then build the site, test it fully and . . . . . . |

publish it to the Claverley Consulting web site as a first draft for our client's comments. |

A process of two way dialogue and further enhancements and modifications will then take place with each draft published for comment until the client is entirely satisfied with the web site. |

Only when the client is fully satisfied does the site go live. |
